Violin (Body):

• Handmade in traditional violin-making style.

• Varnish: transparent hand spirit varnish (“Spiritus-Handlackierung”), slightly shaded finish.

• Tailpiece: ultralight plastic, with 4 fine tuners.

• Pegs: ebony, well-fitted and smooth (“Wirbel aus Ebenholz”).

• Fingerboard & chinrest: ebony.

Two options:

1. Brazilwood bow

   • 8-sided Brazilwood shaft (“achtkantige Brasilholzstange”)

   • Frog: ebony + nickel (neusilber) mount, with Paris eye (Pariser Auge) & mother-of-pearl slide, thumb leather, Mongolian horsehair.

2. Carbon bow (“TONONI primus”) (+ ~€30)

   • Round carbon composite shaft, black.

   • Very good playing characteristics (“sehr gute Spieleigenschaften”).

   • Winding: black synthetic + gold silk.

Case (“Etui”):

• Model: Viotti rectangular case.

• Construction: multi-layer glued wood core (“mehrfach schichtverleimter Holzkern”).

• Covering: durable black textile.

• Interior: burgundy velvet lining (“bordeauxfarbenes Velours-Innenfutter”).
